Dr. Anis Tebyanian is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He was born in Shiraz, Iran. In 2002, he moved to the United States where he resided in Great Falls, Virginia with his family. Dr. Tebyanian graduated in 2006 with honors (Summa Cum Laude) from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. In 2010, he received his dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Tebyanian pursued a combined Oral Maxillofacial Surgery residency program where he received his medical degree in 2013 from Stony Brook School of Medicine, Long island NY. He completed his Oral Maxillofacial surgery residency program from Northwell Health Long Island, NY in 2016. He is currently a member of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS).

Dr. Tebyanian’s surgical training included oral and maxillofacial surgery, anesthesia, general surgery, plastic surgery, head and neck surgery and facial trauma. Dr. Tebyanian practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery which includes wisdom teeth extractions, placement of dental implants and full mouth reconstruction, pathology of oral and facial region, TMJ disorders, jaw surgery, facial trauma and facial cosmetic surgery. .

He is affiliated with Medstar Montgomery Medical Center and Doctors Community Hospital where he can perform complex cases in hospital settings. Currently, he is the only physician on call at Medstar Montgomery Medical Center for facial trauma. Dr. Tebyanian attends seminars and lectures related to advancements in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery to offer the most up-to-date treatments for his patients. He continuously learns new treatment modalities and shares this knowledge with other doctors by giving lectures and seminars.

Dr. Tebyanian currently resides in Rockville, Maryland with his wife and daughter. In his spare time he loves traveling, spending as much time as he can out in nature, hiking and running. Fun fact, he is also known to his family to be quite an amazing chef!
