A New Smile In One Day!

At Olney Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, our aim is to provide outstanding dental care in a safe, secure environment. If you have a number of damaged teeth in your upper or lower arches, we can help you improve your oral health and your quality of life.

All-On-X implants, also called Teeth-in-a-Day, is a state-of-the-art procedure that provides a great alternative to dentures. Most people find that dentures are uncomfortable and create difficulty in essential activities like chewing or speaking.

Who is an ideal candidate for All-On-X?

  • People who are missing most of their teeth on one arch
  • Patients who have experienced bone loss
  • Denture users who are unhappy with the results
  • People who are in need of multiple dental implants

Here are some of the key benefits
With All-On-X, patients can complete the entire procedure in one day! Imagine coming into our office with broken or missing teeth and leaving with fully functional teeth and a beautiful smile!
Here are some of the key benefits:

  • Not many dietary restrictions: You can begin to eat soft foods right after the procedure.
  • A fit that’s perfect for you: Say good-bye to the shifting, poor fit and discomfort of dentures.
  • Shorter treatment time: The procedure is done in only one day.
  • Cost-effective: Affordable permanent solution.
  • Complete arch restoration: Once you’ve healed you can eat, chew and speak as though they were your original teeth.

What to expect during consultation and treatment
During the initial consultation Dr. Tebyanian obtains your medical history and performs a CT scan. He will analyze your results and discuss your treatment options with you.

The procedure can take a few hours. It is commonly done under anesthesia or deep sedation, in which Dr. T is well-trained. Dr. Tebyanian is a board-certified surgeon. His professional training includes oral and maxillofacial surgery, anesthesia, general surgery, plastic surgery, head and neck surgery and facial trauma.

During surgery, all of the remaining teeth in the arch are extracted and the new All-On-X implants are put into place as planned. The dental team loads the new set of teeth onto the implants, and the patient is discharged with a fixed set of teeth that are attached to the implants that same day.

The healing process
Complete healing usually takes about 3 to 6 months. During this time, the dental implants are becoming one with the bone. After this period, you can resume eating harder, denser foods.

Common post-surgery effects may include:

  • Swelling: This is a normal part of surgery and will generally last 2-3 days. So no need to be alarmed.
  • Bleeding: Bleeding around the surgical site is rare but not totally uncommon. In the event of bleeding gums, you can use a piece of gauze and apply pressure to the spot.
  • Bruising: Bruising and soreness around the surgical area is temporary.

Olney Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery wants to help you achieve the confidence and brilliant smile that you deserve. It all begins with a consultation. Contact us to schedule an appointment with Dr. Tebyanian, a capable, gentle, board-certified surgeon you can trust.
